Custom Jewelry and Logo Casting Service |
Jewelry Casting: "Casting is a manufacturing process by which a liquid material is usually poured into a mold, which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shape, and then allowed to solidify. The solidified part is also known as a casting, which is ejected or broken out of the mold to complete the process. Casting materials are usually metals or various cold setting materials that cure after mixing two or more components together; examples are epoxy, concrete, plaster and clay. Casting is most often used for making complex shapes that would be otherwise difficult or uneconomical to make by other methods.[1] Casting is a 6000 year old process."-- Wikipedia.Org We are pleased to offer our custom jewelry design and jewelry casting service at competive price. Silver, Gold, Copper and Brass are our preferred metals to work with as these are what we are most familiar with but we will leave this up to you as we are confident in our manufacturing procedure and machines. Images below is the very first jewerly casting we have done and want to share with you. The original belt buckle was first purchased many years ago along the streets of Vietnam by a US Marine during the Vietnam War. He wore it for many years and received lots of compliments but never realized he had a product people wanted until another friend from Alaska Museum Commission made a suggestion to have it replicated. This gentleman came to us in 2009 but we were not able to complete the casting until 2012. Not because we were not able to do it but because our client did not have a market for the item and the intial design did not seem practical for every day use. After actually wearing the belt buckle for months and testing it on several types of leather belts and fabric, we made the modifications necessary to create our very first Master of this beautiful Anchor Crucifix Belt Buckle in Silver and in Brass (copper-zinc alloy). We now have the first batch in circulation in several Museums in the United States. The last five images above are other items we recently completed from rough drawing made by our customers. We are quite pleased to have completed these first custom jewelry casting work .These designs are strictly for our customers and cannot be replicated without their consent. It is here to only show what we have been able to accomplish in recent months. Please contact us if you are interested in using our jewelry casting service. We are happy to provide you with an estimate for you design. All jewelry casting is done in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Depending on your design and order quantity, we have the facility to complete the initial order within 2 weeks. Once we have the Master and Rubber Mold completed, production can be completed within days, depending on total order quantity and detail of the design.
