Asia Charisma is a manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of hand made Thai Karen hill tribe silver beads, charms, pendants, toggles, findings, link chains, beads caps and many other high content silver designs used in beading and creating jewelry. All of our silver used products are made of "high content" silver which ranges from 95% to 99% in silver purity. We work closely with our Karen hill tribe friends and artisans which allows us to manufacture designs with precision outcome. Asia Charisma does not "employ" any Karen artisans within our company, rather, all of our products sold within our site are purchased and ordered directly from a Karen artisan and their families, therefore maintaining maximum profitability for each Karen hill tribe artisan. Working conditions for all hill tribe families will vary, depending on each household's capital and earnings. In short, if a product sells well that belongs to that particular family, it is likely that the family will gradually improve their working conditions as well as their livelihood. MISSIONS and GOALS: Our goal is to bridge the gap between world wide importers and local merchants around Thailand. With our ability to communicate and understand importer's needs, we are able to relay any specifications and requests to the local merchants, manufacturers and artists to whom we have close business-relations. In doing so, we hope to create more opportunities for Karen hill tribe artisans working with silver designs and various artists around Thailand. We have based our web site and catalogue from our client's comments and suggestions from all over the world. It is our privilege to answer any questions and provide information regarding handcrafted silver accessories and local arts of northern Thailand and the Golden Triangle.

We are more than a merchant wholesaler or manufacturer agent; some of our other projects consists of a small mountain resort, Jungle King Cottage, just south of Chiang Mai. Jungle King Cottage will be our base for running daily tours in and out of the city to the where we can provide some entertainment for our visiting clients . Elephant riding and Bamboo Rafting will be two of our main day time attractions. However, our purpose for this resort is to provide a relaxing 'home-away-from-home' atmosphere for our clients. It is located on a hill overlooking a small river, and not far from our current Chiang Mai office. Jungle King Cottage is located in a semi-remote area where the current locals consist of mainly hill tribe Karen farmers. The Karen's are christian, and are very friendly. Often times, if a Karen notice you walking around their neighborhood, they will invite you in for a drink of some home made rice whisky. This is not abnormal at all, but rather their natural way of coping with change. More and more, the hill tribe villages are encountering outsiders and have done well to except the changes and flow with the times. So well, that as you walk around long enough you will see little 'home shops' of ethnic arts and crafts on display in front of many villages and villager's homes.
